I’m taking D24 on my business trip to St Thomas as a senior year award trip. I’m speaking at a conference and will have tons of down time (4 days).
Any recommendations on things to do, things to avoid, restaurants, transportation, other tips?
We’re staying at the Westin at Frenchman’s Reef which got some mixed reviews.
Go to St. John 
just a ferry ride away, much less populated, beautiful.
I agree about St.John -easy ferry ride. Lots of hiking and beaches.
We also stayed in St, Thomas and arranged a snorkeling/boat day. There are some great restaurants in St.Thomas if I can remember the names I’ll post later. We stayed at a small resort and they recommended a driver to us so that’s how we got around.
Also adding “go to St. John”!

Based on this information, the advice is to avoid St John at all costs. 
definitely book a snorkling trip.
