Did u submit ur portfolios in a professionally bounded book?
Yes, I had it printed, wire bound in black and FedEx on November 14th.
My portfolio includes several charcoal portrait drawings from live model, pencil self portrait, couple pastel still life,
2 Oil on canvas paintings, 2 water color abstracts , a ceramic sculpture and a clay sculpture of myself.
i just sent in my ed ii app to the architecture school! my portfolio is about 9 or 10 pieces of art and 2-3 architectural works i did at a precollege program. has anyone heard back from ed i for architecture yet?
I don’t believe so, as the response time noted so far is this Friday at the earliest and most likely next week by the 16th.Actually I also have a piece of architectural work in my portfolio but during the portfolio critic session Vittoria didn’t seem too thrilled with it.They are more interested in original art work.
Why do ppl think that we will hear by friday?
Apparently some years ago I think 2014 that’s when some were notified.
What was the architectural piece you were going to submit? just wondering
I dont think it has to do with what the piece is about, but overall I got the impression they are more interested in your artistic, creative ability (drawing, painting, etc) rather than architectural work, which they are going to teach you anyways.

yeah i’ve been kinda worried bc i used the architectural work in my portfolio, but it was from a precollege program and super abstract, like the models are much more artistic than realistic lol!! i didn’t have the chance for a portfolio review but i did visit and meet w the architecture school and vittoria had said similar things about using your architectural work- but honestly i only had 9 really strong pieces of art so i felt okay using the architecturey work i do have (although i’m very confident in my art work that i did submit!) is anyone else here doing ed 2? i didn’t have my hard copy in time to mail it for ed 1 but thank god, admissions released an ed 2 the day after!!!
2 students in my HS got their acceptance to Cornell Architecture school today.Then again Cornell and the other Ivy League schools release their Ed decision earlier by the 8th.
