We pick up son at the airport tomorrow night at 6:00pm. Yippee! We can’t wait! Is anyone else this excited? It’s hard to believe that he has been at college for almost 15 weeks.

Happy Thanksgiving to all at CC.

My son is a junior in college but did not come home for Thanksgiving for the first two years, as he attends college on the West Coast and we live in the Northeast. He is spending the fall in Washington DC and will be home tomorrow night! I am so excited - he is the one who loves Thanksgiving food most of all and I was sad for the last two years, even though he had a good dinner and a nice time each year (once at a feast provided by the college and once at a friend’s home.) My college niece will also be here, and she and my son have not seen each other in a long time, due to differing schedules. You realize it is special when everyone can be together at the same time and place, as the kids get older.
