anyone else getting nervous?

Penn! I got rejected everywhere too…we should have No one likes us party. Except for the fact, Georgetown was my reach school not my backup. Not mention my #1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 choice!

where are you going

I’ve gotten in to my backups, but none of the schools I want to go to so far…fingers crossed for GU and if not GU, Tufts!

Penn–at this point, no year. I already have an Assoicates Degree, so if I don’t get into Georgetown, I’ll probably take a year off, and reapply.

oh my god i cant do my homework yet barely breath i am so nervous

I’m incredibly incredibly nervous now. I got rejected from all my schools today (well Waitlist at Brown and Cornell, but still) and Gtown was my first choice anyway. If I don’t get in I’m going to be completely crushed (not to mention insanely worried I won’t get into my ok safety)

i’ve acutally accepted the fact, that next year will 75% be a gap year for me. The weird thing is? I keep picturing myself at georgetown next year, i can’t see my self anywhere but there, no matter how much i try to shake the image

Improvements–I knew a kid who took some evening classes at Gtown after not getting in and proving he should be there. The accepted him the next srping and he had three classes from the school under his belt. Get a job in DC and go for it next year.

Thank you Flyboy, thats a great idea. I have a degree, in a specialized hot area (criminal justice, but i have a terrorism and forensics certifcates, so I’m sure i could get a job or an internship in D.C eaisly the problem is finding a place to live!

Trust me you’ll find a place to live…just go for it, man. I saw that other thread you started about the worse week of your life. You sound like a bright guy. If this admissions thing is all about fitting into someone’s box…just remember boxes are three dimensional, not two dimensional. There is always another way in, you just have to find it. Just like a box, go in through the bottom, jump in from the top or rip the frikin sides off and get in that way. Just get in and go for it if that is what you want and will make you happy!

Thanks, you give great advice…that was the perfect analogy. And yes, Georgetown is my dream, and I won’t give up.

p.s I am girl…don’t worry this confusion happends alot.
