anyone else getting nervous?

We won’t hear in NJ/NY until at least Thursday seeing as to how the people in DC haven’t received anything yet. Everywhere else will be longer. We’ve got a nice long wait in store

if by “nice long wait” you mean six days, then yeah…

although, with this suspense, six days really does feel like six years, so i guess i would have to agree with you :]

I don’t exactly remember when he said we would get the letters (due to the fact that I was, understandably, more interested in the fact that I’d actually gotten in), but I’m 95% certain he said something to the effect of they will be shipped out in the next day or two.

I’ll see if I can’t squeeze out some info tomorrow.

well yeah a nice long wait is more figurative than literal…the days are going slower already haha

apparently the letters are going in the mail tomorrow - according to someone in the admissions office, i’m under the impression it’s quite reliable information

this was probably answered already, but do the letters go out regular mail or are acceptances overnighted? thanks

Just a note- Pardart posted that “today” but at 1:50 am, meaning the “tomorrow” he was referring to was the same day he posted.

In short: Shipped Wed March 28, 2007

arbiter213, by regular mail?

if i get the mail at 4:30 sometimes 5 might i get it today??? i live in DC area

I don’t think you can get it the someday, but I could be wrong. Please let us know when you do. thanks

my mail is so weird. to days ago it came at 6:30 pm

sorry i meant two

Patrick Durbin’s like a student representative (or someone important like that) at Georgetown and I got an e-mail reply saying:

"Thank you for your email. Georgetown’s announce date is April 1st. You should receive your letter on or before April 1st.

Thank you,

Patrick Durbin"

Ah, only if he had sent this earlier, I wouldn’t have bothered my mail carrier everyday since March 15!

No idea CMA, my guess is 1st class/ priority mail. I’d say west coast should expect it friday, East Coast thursday, and a spectrum between.

Nothing in DC again today.

Tomorrow is going to be a very, very stressful day.

Yeah, tommorrow/today is going to be the worst. To be honest, at this point, I think I am going to spend next year at home…since rejection seems to be my fate.

Nothing in PA today. Breathe in deeply thru the nose and exhale slowly thru the mouth. Your mom, dad and dog will still love you no matter what.

my mail came early today (3pm) so i couldn’t count on getting it the same day as postmarked (monday it came at 6:30 pm) if they were postmarked today i’m def. getting it tomorrow since i leave in the DC metropolitan area. i believe PA and up to like NY get it on friday. and then the further away the later.

good luck everyone!

i have been rejected everywhere accept my ultimate backup so let me in georgetown
