Anyone else planning on doing this?

Well, I was accepted into UPitt A&S a couple weeks ago and am 95% sure I am planning on attending there (Im OOS and the only other school I applied to was my state school, so unless an issue like money or something comes up, I’ll be going to Pitt).

Anyway, to combat their extensive general education requirements, I’m planning to self-study for multiple AP exams (I will only have taken three APs by the end of high school, one of which is a foreign language so the AP credit is no good to Pitt). Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me and how many they plan on studying for.

My plan is to self study for world history, physics b, statistics, and environmental science. If you’re planning on attempting a similiar feat please share! It’s helpful to know there are others out there doing this too :)

I’m self studying AP Psych this year… something about the 600 or so people in PSY100 frightens me :(

There aren’t 600 people in an Intro Psych class. It’s somewhere between 200-300 a section maybe, but there’s no way it’s anything near 600.

I took AP Psych last year and bombed one of the free responses but still managed to get a 5…the good thing about studying for Psych is that its actually pretty interesting lol

but as someone who wants to double major and study abroad for a year (and expect to graduate in a decent amount of time lol) I feel like I have to get at least a few required credits out of the way)
