My microfridge with a microwave is making a trickling water noise along with a noise like water sloshing through a pump that is coming from only the freezer, it sounds like it originating between the walls. The noise is nonstop, continuous and annoying as hell. If I didn’t have my fan on, it would keep me up at night. The compressor is also hot, too hot to touch for more than a second, but I’m not sure if that’s related.

Is this normal for anyone else? If so, I’d rather ditch the refrigerator than deal with it.

My D has one and we did not notice those noises. She did have the fan on a lot though. Sounds like yours might be defective. I would try another one. Lots of kids have them so you can check with them. Is it turned up too high? It may just run a lot at first as it chills everything in it, then it may get more quiet.

Sorry to steal the thread from you, but I have 2 Questions:
1-How do you rent a microfridge?
2-What is a cheap option for TV and how would I go about getting it?

some people like and use slingboxes for TV. I can’t recommend that since I’ve never tried it. I know that the Directv is way too expensive for me and that’s the way to get cable straight to your room.

yes thats completely normal…its like white noise you have to put up with…hey i’m sure you’re the envy of most with a microfridge! but the units are used most of the time so yours may be faulty.

make sure the unit isnt packed to the brink either…it needs to have proper airflow :P
