<p>I’m probably going to have an anxiety attack and die before Friday. :l I’m freeeaking out.</p>
<p>I am soooo nervous. I am already getting anxious just thinking about it! I have a 5.73 weighted (idk what it is UF recalculated), top 7% of class, 1500/2280 SAT, taken 6 AP’s and passed them all (in 7 this year, ugh), a few extracurriculars, only 1 officer position, ~250 community service hours, no legacy. I know my grades and scores are pretty good, but I’ve heard of people at my level not getting in. I know extracurriculars are really important to them too…I am freaking out!</p>
<p>Just realized that I’m leaving at exactly 6:00 PM this Friday to go see Les Miserables. I CAN’T LEAVE AT THAT TIME. And now I’m so conflicted? Musical? College? Musical? Future? <em>bites nails nervously</em></p>

<p>Does anyone know how UF views service hours. Could service hours rmake up for a low ACT score? My daughter has an unweighted GPA of 3.96, but only a 23 on her ACT (taken it 4 times all 23). She has good extracurriculars: started a club, cheerleader, spanish honor society, student government, debate and over 500 service hours. She goes to a private school which doesn’t rank but has many students with much higher stats than her which I have heard works to her disadvantage. She has submitted a very good essay dealing with how she has learned to live with a health limitation. Both parents attended UF. She got into fsu, ucf and out of state colleges despite the low act score but UF is our dream!!!</p>

<p>if your student was active in school clubs, and other extracurriculars, and her weighted GPA and COURSE LOAD(ap’s and honors) were good (around 6 total APs or more), then she should be fine.</p>
