A friend asked my about the University of Bournemouth’s grad program in animation.
Frankly, I never heard of the school.

What is its reputation in UK?

How hard is it to get in for both undergrad and graduate?

If you know, what is it like?

Bournemouth as a university is not very highly rated, however, I believe it is very well-thought of for this particular subject and entry standards are much higher for this than for other subjects. I think your friend really should get in touch with them and ask for the employment destinations of previous students (and assuming he/she is American for international students).

Bournemouth is supposed to be the top university in the UK for computer animation. But like someone else said, it’s overall reputation isn’t great.

Poor apart from it is famous for animation courses

easy. Though if there is any course which is difficult to get on, animation will be the one.

Never known anyone who attended Bournemouth uni, but I have been to Bournemouth. Given that it is a seaside resort full of bars (hundreds of them) I suspect party school.

58/114 in the Times ranking (you too can find infomation like this, using Google).
