<p>I just realized you have an LOA so you didn’t go to Burr’s interview</p>
<p>That’s right – We were told not to come since he already had another nomination and an LOA. It might have been a good opportunity for him, but by not going he was able to attend a track meet that day.</p>
<p>My D, her father and I will be there. I’m sad that siblings cannot attend but how nice to know that some of “ya’ll” will be there!</p>
<p>I called and gave my spelling, maybe we should bring markers and put our cc name underneath. :^)</p>

<p>If you go to her website you can see pictures from past receptions. We’re a little unsure who officially nominated our D first. She also received Coble’s nomination and Coble and Dole both called the same day! (We’re in District 6, High Point/Jamestown area). </p>

<p>Funny thing, a couple of yrs ago we were in the airport traveling and to get my h’s attention they kids screamed bullet (I realized right away, talked to them and we never called him that out loud in public ever again)</p>
<p>Did you get a principal… b/c I know our Congressman only handed paperwork in this week AFA called Monday…Burr had interviews last Sat and it showed up on the site today. we received Dole’s on the 22nd of Dec…my guess is that if it was before the 22nd she has the highest WCS for Dole and congrats, or it is from your MOC</p>
<p>You know, I’m uncertain about the whole process…and I’m truly not sure what was done, when. Both Dole and Coble knew that we were out of the country for Christmas so both calls came when we arrived home on the 30th. I haven’t a clue even what a WCS is! All I know is the USAFA appointment package came today and I cannot even look at it. I started to read just the first letter from the Superintendent and I got all choked up…It’s crazy I know, the very folder that she prayed so long for, and now it’s making me physically sick… I’ll be the one with red eyes next Saturday…</p>
<p>I, for one, can’t wait to see if any of you actually get to meet each other. Sure hope so.</p>

<p>Thanks, but I am now coming to a realization that whichever path he takes he’ll be a great officer (AFA/ROTC) and in the end DH and I are so proud, for all of the academy candidates. We tell him that often, to get every nom, is great and we realize he still might not get in, but his character maturity at this age is amazing…</p>
<p>With that being said…Here is a standing ovation from my family to yours, these kids (let’s remember they are kids) have shown more maturity and resiliency than I can muster at the age of 42, I am positive our nation will be safe and admired for at least another 25 yrs. G*D bless America and our children</p>

<p>Bulletandpima–thank you too and I agree 100%. These kids are my heroes. They amaze me and I find that I’m a little envious of them. I can’t wait to meet your fine son. (Oh, and I had to laugh, I am also 42 …well…that is until tomorrow, then I reluctantly add one more…

<p>Awwwww that’s so sweet! --especially since my husband will probably forget–so thank you! See you Saturday at Dole’s thing. I WILL have tissues standing by. It will be overwhelming to see such fine “kids” all in one room.</p>

<p>Bullet and I went on mapquest last night to see actually where this is at and we realized it is @4 hrs away…uggh! You know you love your child when you say I would cancel, but how many kids in their life get to have this opportunity…great story to tell his own children…okay I just had my life flash before my eyes…please world slow down I am not ready for him to get off the ride with me yet :D</p>
