I’d pay a little bit for a tour guide - the day we pass through is on a weekend and no info sessions/tours available. Planning to self tour for now, but we’ve always had better experience with a tour guide to provide context and share their experience! I believe June 15 is the day we’re looking at.

I hope you get a taker but I think it’s going to be more difficult during summer session and on Father’s Day weekend.
When we did summer visits and couldn’t schedule an official visit, we called the admissions office to see if we could hire a student for a private tour. There were a couple of schools that had a process for that. Not sure if UGA offers that but IMO, it’s worth a call to see.
If that isn’t an option and you need to do a self guided tour, I’d recommend seeing if there are UGA visit videos online. Many schools have their info sessions recorded as well as student led tour videos that can help fill in the blanks. We watched the videos ahead of the visit where we knew we’d be doing a self guided visit.

I hope someone here can do this for you. When my DD was an undergrad, she gave several private tours to CC families (no charge…but most took her out to dinner). She was happy to do so, and she was there two summers as well so could have done that as well.

My DD’S close friend is back home for summer from UGA (they just met 2days ago) If it would be in fall, I can ask…

I know it’s a long shot. I figured if there’s anyone fairly local or staying around for research or internship - it happens, but long shot. I like the idea of calling school and seeing if they have a process or just watching videos in advance. We are pretty far so fall is not an option as this is part of our south schools tours /combined vacation.
