<p>Does anyone’s kid have experience with SCEP (used to be Student Career Employment Program, now Student Educational Employment Program) for federal employment? D1 has an opportunity though her internship with a federal agency to do this for the next year, and apparently it gives some priority in the hiring process by this agency when she graduates. She is currently a junior, will graduate in May 2012.</p>
<p>However, it looks like a pretty big time commitment to me. She has already committed to intern for a senator this summer (full time), and has another on campus job that she loves waiting for her in the fall. But she loves her internship, and would like to work for them full time after graduating.</p>
<p>Anybody know anything about it?</p>
