Anyone Have the front page of a March 3 newspaper

My daughter would like one to put in her baby book and we forgot to grab one. We have one for her and her brother and they both love them. If anyone has one they are willing to send us I would gladly pay postage! People on here are so helpful! Thanks!

I don’t. But wanted to say that my son was born March 3.

Enjoy that baby in these hard times

@momocarly - you should be able to get one directly from the newspaper office. If you have the app Nextdoor in your neighborhood I’d put a note up.

I saved the one from my D’s birth (along with a TV Guide and People) - it’s fun to look back.

Good luck I hope you find one! Please come back and let us know.

This will be better than nothing:

I don’t have a newspaper, but maybe a sort of related idea.

When a baby in your family is born then have the parents or grandparents start a new email account. Email things to that account like school pictures, articles that don’t expire, any number of things.

Then when the child turns 18 or graduates high school then give the kid the password.

There is an online baby book of sorts.

Buy a bottle of wine, vintage of the year of the baby’s birthday. It will likely turn into vinegar by the time the baby will be 21, but it will still be a cool item to pass around at the birthday celebration! Just wait for a year or two until the good stuff that has a chance of aging comes out.

Our main city paper has issues available for purchase up to 11 months back - http://old.post-gazette.com/pgdelivery/backcopies.asp

See if your local paper has the same. Or if you’re open to copies from anyone, you could just order from here and see what was going on in Pittsburgh.

I don’t have a copy of a paper from that day either but Deb, my son shares your son’s birthday, and his is a pretty cool one - 03/03/03!

@momocarly I hope you are able to find one.
