anyone here have under a 3.5?

I’m beginning to feel like the exception around here, with my 3.3 (3.29 if i must)…I’ve taken a respectable assortment of honors/AP’s, though…if I’d taken regular, Im sure I would have gotten a 4.0
As the title says, anyone else here have under a 3.5?
Anyone know anyone with under a 3.5 who got in, or am I really as screwed as I feel?

I feel like I’m slowly going insane these days…anyone know the feeling?

I have a 3.4 but I didn’t have a junior year of high school to help balance out the C I got freshman year. Basically UW is only seeing my grades from my freshman and sophomore years, but I think it’ll be okay seeing as I’ve gotten As in all of my courses at the local community college and regular college (UNR).

I wouldn’t worry too much about your GPA. I understand the anxious feeling as you wait for the UW application status website to change, but stressing out isn’t going to accomplish anything. We’re all gonna hear by April 15th so in the meantime, take up an activity or something that might take your mind off of the whole applications process.

thanks, i think i will…im joining the tennis team soon, but Im sort of worried right now, because i have a C in calculus, and i’m finding it really hard.
Do you think I have any chance at all? or am i really that screwed…?

Snr year grades don’t matter unless you fail em (and I still don’t think they’d care too much). Having more info to work with isn’t bad but you shouln’t get frustrated. Enjoy your life and know that a rejection is not the end of the world.

I have 3.74 weighted, and a 3.4 unweighted.

Senior years grades don’t matter unless you fail. Also, it is really bad if you haven’t fulfilled the core requirements and you fail a class that would have met the requirements. Seeing how that is calc, you are already above the 3 years of required math. So it should be OKAY even if you fail calc, but if you are going to fail, I’d drop calc before you fail just cause it looks better :D

I have a 3.49 with a 1390 SAT. Lots of IB/IHS and Honors courses.

Hope I get in.

You should and you will.

I had a 3.3 and finally a 3.27 at the end of the school year, or something like that. But I’m in-state and I took a hard courseload, so you never know.
