I am an international student and I just completed application one week ago…now i just can’t wait to hear their decision…My uncle is working in one of the UR Biology Labs, last summer i was fortunate to live with him on campus for a month…i was deeply in love with the UR campus. I espcially enjoyed using the piano practice room and sports facility while i was there…i think UR is definitely underrated…it’s such an amazing university, you definitely can get a lot of individual attention here and grow as a person ultimately…but unfortuantely it’s not well known in the country.

Hi there, may I ask who your uncle is? Is he a faulty member or a grad student? And Im glad you liked it, so did I. It is well known, just only in the professional world - not among common folk.

my uncle actually left the University of Rochester in December last year, he used to work for a professor in one of the Biology labs. He’s not a graduate student, but he told me he’s not considered to be 100% faulty member there either…
