Anyone know anything about grad school admissions in Europe?

I’m applying to a school in Sweden and they don’t take GRE scores or references, but I can’t seem to find anything about what admissions is based on. Anyone have any experience?

Did you ask the graduate admission advisor (or whatever they call it in Sweden) about it?

I did. They’re really slow to respond so I thought it’d ask here.

Is this for a Masters or a PhD? For a PhD or research based masters, if a PI has the money to support a student, he is free to chose whoever he sees fit for the position. Typically, a first round is based on references, a personal statement and the transcript of the applicant, whereas a second round typically consists of an interview and the applicant giving a talk.
