Anyone know anything about Japanese technopop?

<p>OK - my nephew is recently into Japaneses techno-pop music (not k-pop). As my sister describes it sort of a Japanese version of Kraftwerk. Does anyone have any recommendations in this genre? It is so not my specialty.</p>

<p>there are a few jpop bands that I like a lot… Yum yum orange and the pillows come to mind at the moment… Cornelius is amazing but not really considered j Pop</p>

<p>I went ahead and ordered “Perfume” JPN - thanks for your input - I listened to enough of it to make my head spin and finally just needed to decide - not really my thing, but you gotta give the kids what they want (within reason). :eek:</p>
