<p>Found out this morning that my kids current coach’s contract was not renewed. Kid is a soph. but had to sit out this season due to injury so technically has 3 years eligibility. Anyone know what the policy is on scholarships/recruited athletes for the next season? Do schools/new coaches generally honor athletic scholarships?</p>
<p>I know absolutely nothing about NAIA policy, but I would think a school would have a very difficult time recruiting if the incoming coaches did not honor existing scholarships!</p>
<p>Good news, the AD met with the team told them even though there will be a coaching change, no roster or scholarship changes… phew… :)</p>
