<p>I was wait listed at uw and recently submitted my appeal. I was also rejected at USC, and in their rejection letter, they said that out of 800 something appeals the past year, 25 were accepted. (yikes!) Needless to say, I didn’t appeal to USC. Just wondering if anyone knows what the numbers look like for uw (or if that information is even available?).</p>

<p>Wow, really? That sounds extremely low. Harvard accepts applicants at a rate 2 times higher than UW accepts appeals?</p>
<p>Yes, because were are talking about <em>appeals</em> not <em>applications</em>
and yes, it’s 4 percent.</p>
<p>Probably more important than the rate appeals are granted, is what grounds do you have to appeal? Is there information that wasn’t reflected on your original application?</p>
