Our daughter had her revisit, and we went to the reception last night. They definitely project a supportive environment, and sitting in on classes and talking to kids our daughter didn’t get a cut-throat vibe at all.

Same here…our daughter attended the classes, and we also attended the family event. An empowering and supportive environment! Faculty and administrators seemed very welcoming and real!

For those who took SHSAT, do you know what time results come out tomorrow?
“After school hours” is all we know - our kid’s school said that they will deliberately not hand out results, purportedly because they want kids to see them with their families (yeah, sure).
Ok so maybe for kids not in public school who had to register on their own we can see the results earlier.
How is it going today for those deciding between day school options and boarding? I think we are tending toward toward day school so we’ll sign a contract tomorrow and then do revisits but hoping to stick with day school in the end.

We decided to do boarding.

Kid has been having a difficult time choosing / leaning boarding, have to finalize the choice tonight. A wonderful problem to have, challenging nonetheless!

Boarding it is! Will revisit Hotchkiss Choate and Andover, and see where she prefers!
