My D has an uncommon, but not unusual name, and we never can find keychains or such with her name…any know a place online where people with rarer names might find things?

You might try CafePress.com If no one has designed something with your D’s name, you could design it yourself and have it made at CafePress - click the “make your own stuff” tab when you go to the website. Zazzle.com has a similar service where you can make your own design and have it made. On Zazzle look under “more products” for keychains.

thanks!!! she gets irked when she sees this cute stuff, without her name

her friend, a girl, has a “boys name” so her name stuff often has trucks and such

Here’s another site:

[Personalized Gifts For The Whole Family!](http://www.wepersonalize.com/)

We buy everything in silver so I can get it inscribed —try any co. that gives free monogram
My D has a usual name, but we spell it in a unique manner (when she was a week old, they put a boys chart in her file, b4 checking the diaper —I thought dressing her in pink would have given it away…wrong!) that day I immediately changed a letter to make it more femine, anyhoo everything in her name is the same as city girl…guy stuff.

You can also try coach for leather since they also do monogram we just pay extra for 1 extra letter.

My d also has an “rarer” variant of a pretty common name. She hates not finding stuff with her name on it. Of course, she also tends to devalue ones that I have made for her - she always asks “Did it come like this or did you have it made for me?”

My best find when she was much younger was a book in which the two main characters had her name and the name of a good friend of hers!

Keep posting if you find a site that actually carries stuff with unusual names!

Things Remembered. National retailer of personalized gifts located in many malls. Website has a store locator. Everything they sell can be engraved and it’s quick turnaround. It’s nice to see the items in person, but they have a complete online store as well.
I get a nice mail order catalogue from Personal Creations. I have ordered from them in the past.
I’ve ordered from several online places, including Current…personalized items are much easier (and cheaper)to special order than they used to be. LOL, one of my “name” requirements when we were coming up with baby names was that I wanted my kids to be able to buy personalized license plates. It’s a good thing, since they lived in 4 different states by the time they were in high school! Our problem has been that they usually sell out of their names on the personalized pencil racks!
