I’ve heard two different things:

-the 5th floor of ware in Smith, Coxe, and Rodney is connected to the 4th floor of of like wilson, morgan…fisher and even reipe so that that floor would be more than just people in entrepreneurs’ residential
-the 5th floor of ware in smith, coxe, and rodney is all by itself and doesn't connect to any other college building so one would have to go down a flight of stairs in order to reach another hall.

I just wanted to know because i don’t want to be living in a floor with ONLY people in the program really. And, i want to meet much more people in the hall, assuming they would probably be my closest friends. So which is true? Thanks a lot

where did you hear the second part?

please look at the diagrams online (sadly, needs IE, cannot be viewed in firefox or opera or any other browser):

http://www.business-services.upenn.edu/housing/quadrooms/EF_Smith/acwebpublish.htm

notice the little stairs there on the 5th floor, left? that’s because there’s a few steps between levels (quad isn’t one big level structure) - the hallway goes all the way to rodney, where it ends in a suite entrance.

as you see, that ef smith 5th floor stairs (not a full floor transition, again, just like 5 steps?) connects to wilson 4th floor… which connects to morgan 4th floor… which connects to the memorial tower’s ware library… which goes into ny alumni 4th floor, in fisher hassenfeld.

seriously i’ll walk over there myself and take pictures and put them up here if it’ll soothe your fears.

and no, hallmates are never necessarily your closest friends.

and the activities in which you participate / classes that you take will expand your horizons far beyond your living situation.

please, please, stop worrying about this silly little quibble.

Thanks alot…sry for askin such a miniscule question but i just really wanted to know…i’m guessing you have to go down a flight to get to riepe tho right? since it ends in a suite?

yes, you’d take the rodney stairs down and cross east over into riepe.
