If folks are on the boat, likely NOT to be using phones if in international waters or ports due to costly charges. When we were on a cruise to Alaska, we kept our phones in room safe and just used our cameras so as not to get hit by high charges we heard some folks were surprised with. Internet is pretty spotty as well.
