Just wondering if it’s fun or your thoughts. I’ve never done it, but it looks like it could be really fun/funny after a few drinks with friends. Or…maybe evetyone is too self conscious.
You can rent one. I went to a party where they had one once, and it was actually a lot of fun.
My sister has one and we’ve stayed up practically all night with it and we hadn’t even been drinking. Super fun with people you know really well (if, like us, you can’t sing).
We do NOT have the singing gene in our extended family. Singing Happy Birthday at family gatherings is a painfully out of tune affair. %-(
We used to have one years ago and had tons of fun.
These days I am pretty sure you can find a program and install it on a laptop connected to a TV, so a mike is the only additional device you will need.
Hmmmm…I think we need to consider one then.
I got one from my brother one Christmas. I ended up gifting it to friends who use it with extended family and schools (they are teachers and their kids are too). It’s fun if there are singers in the group but otherwise gathers dust.
That would just encourage me to sing. I don’t think anyone wants that.
I always tell people I’m going to start the first geriatric “boy band.” Our most likely fans won’t be able to hear or see well by then. Huge plus.
