Anyone read Maria Shriver's new book?

<p>Maria Shriver was on Larry King plugging her new book, “And One More Thing Before You Go…” She wrote the book specifically for moms who are sending their Ds off to college! Some of the things she talked about made me wonder if she frequents this forum. “The last this, the last that” <= I believe that was a topic not too long ago, Lots of crying… <= another recent topic. But I guess these are fairly universal topics and not the sole property of CC. The book sounds like it might make a nice graduation present. I am not a mom and have no Ds, so I probly won’t read it. :)</p>

<p>I leafed through it at Border’s. It seems to be more philosophical than my advice to my kid has been. She is talking about fear, trying new things, being a strong woman; I’ve been telling my D about more concrete situations. We’ve discussed parties, drinking, drugs, sickness, etc. I get lots of “I KNOW that!”</p>
