<p>Don’t need them for college … but for the beach house!</p>
<p>I have beds coming today for the beach house – and I decided that XL twin beds made the most sense for our tall adult friends and tall adult children who will be using the second bedroom. </p>
<p>I’d like to sleep there this weekend and I need XL TWIN SHEETS! Has anyone seen them in the stores yet?</p>
<p>Do you have a Bed Bath and Beyond nearby? I think I’ve seen them there year-round. At most other stores it’s a seasonal item. I’d call any stores before making a trip, though.</p>
<p>I agree with the above poster, I’ve seen them year round at Target, Kohl’s , BB&B. They really aren’t that uncommon any more. The best time to get deals though is in October when all the college shopping for the year is done.</p>
<p>You can order them through Penney’s or any of the linen catalogues. I doubt that that will help you for the weekend though.</p>
<p>I did the same thing as you at our place near the beach, and for the same reasons. Found the XL sheets “off-season” at Target and have seen them at BB&B as well.</p>
<p>Macy’s has good quality, higher thread count twin XL sheets.</p>

<p>I just saw them in a catalog from Pottery Barn - Teen. Do you know anyone graduating from college?</p>
<p>I second the suggestion of The Company Store. The quality is excellent and the prices, especially if you get something on sale, are great. Bed, Bath and Beyond is usually significantly more expensive. Target can be in the middle.</p>
<p>I found them at Target around Easter during son’s senior year in high school. They were on clearance. I snatched them up and put them away for college. We are going to replace our twin beds in our son’s old bedroom with extra long twin mattresses. It seems the Twin XL sheets are not as scarce as we thought they would be, and of course, when son graduates or moves off campus, we’ll use those sheets as backups. They’re not as pricey as we thought, either. I guess it’s the concept of supply and demand. The Twin XL seem to be the norm on most college campuses, now. Speaking of clearance, and since you’re looking for something quick, do you have a Big Lots or other oversell type store in your area? TJMaxx, Stein Mart, Burlington sometimes have expensive brands marked down. I’ve even found some good bargains on linens at KMart, in a clearance section. It might take some legwork, but if you plan your drive around in a circle, you can run in and out a bunch of places quickly.</p>
<p>Company Store often has them. Search their clearance section too because you can get some great deals (bought an entire twin set, 100% cotton for $17.00!).</p>
<p>Well Kohls didn’t have them in my store this week. They did have a TwinXL bed in a bag package – but they only had one and I hated the pattern anyway!</p>
<p>I have to hit BedBath and Beyond on my way to the shore tomorrow, because I need pillows. My son gave me one set from this year – since I had bought him 2 new sets of something gorgeous … so I have one bed made and one not!</p>

<p>I’ve found that regular length t-shirt jersey sheets fit fine on the XL twin mattresses as they have plenty of stretch. Then you can use on a regular twin as well.</p>

<p>In a pinch, the regular twin jerzey sheets will work on xl twin beds.</p>
