I heard from someone that it was much easier than immunology in past years. Any truth to this?

Visiting professor is teaching it this year and is giving less detailed oriented exams than in the past.

Definitely a good move, as I took Immunology before and it was really overly tough unless that was the only course you were taking that was challenging that semester.

I was take CH36 and CS15 that semester, so suffice to say it was not much fun.

any chance he’ll teach it next year?

No, he’s a visiting professor teaching the course because one (maybe both) of the professors who normally teach Bi53 is/are on leave this semester.

So visiting professors usually don’t stay longer?

No more svitlana next year? :(

Each visiting professor has different terms – I know one that has been here years, but most are just for a semester or a year.

In the case of this course, it’s unlikely that even if the professor remains that they will continue to teach Immunology since that course has been taught by Yap and Brossay for years and it’s kind of their baby.
