Anyone wanna summarize Marine Biology Sim?

<p>So umm…apparently we’ve got this test tomorrow. They call it the AP or something? i dunno. Anyway hehe I was thinking about “bagging” the Marine Biology Simulation considering it is quite long and quite a hassle. Unless someone wants to give me a briefing of what I haven’t been listening to in class. Btw…in case some of you didnt know there are also 5 multiple choice q’s on the Simulation. Came as a shock to me :).</p>

<p>Its ~ 5 MC and its ALWAYS 1/4 questions for FR so its about 1/8 of total test…</p>

<p>well u can count on a question in the MC concerning unbounded environment, learn how its implemented and how the methods from a bounded environment are used differently for unbounded</p>

<p>If you have PR or Barron’s, read their summary chapter on it, which is about 20 pages.
Better than 100 something eh? lol</p>

<p>Its 20% of the exam, so you need to be familiar with it.</p>

<p>Just for AB tho, not for A. Lol, I think for A, you just have to know MBS exists…</p>

<p>I’m taking A and you need to be pretty familiar with it I think.
Why would they make you read 4 of the 5 chapters if you didn’t.

<p>Some of the questions can be tricky if you aren’t familiar with it.</p>

<p>yeah on the A exam i think we have 5 multi. choice and 1 frq on the mbs, so it is important. just read the summaries or read the source code. that works well.</p>

<p>Ok… for A, you don’t need to know:</p>

<p>Environment stuff (Bounded, Unbounded)
Heaps, Stacks, Queues (Data storage stuff)
Something else</p>

<p>So yeah I read PR’s summary and went to bed dreaming about darterfish vs.slowfish wars. then ginormofish came onto slowfish’s side and the rest …as you can imagine…hehe was punishment. I thought the multiple choice were more or less hard, and the free response seemed to easy to believe. I’m still not sure about my implementation of their tainted desires for the simulation, but we’ll see in july. how did everyone else fare?</p>

<p>i skipped three on mult. choice (three on MBS because I didn’t do that in debth)
many of the mc’s were hard but I think i got at least 30 out of 40 correct (i dunno if that’s good)</p>

<p>I can’t really tell you about the open response. I had answers. They made sense. They could have been wrong.</p>
