Although we have season tickets, two of my sons-in-law are in the seats tonight since my H is out of town and there’s no way I was going to sit outside on such a chilly night! The season is ridiculously long. Why on earth is the final played in December?!
Yes. I watched it. Wanted Toronto to win, but at least NYCFC don’t qualify for the CONCACAF Champions League for next season!! (New York Red Bulls supporter)
I watched some of the game while doing other things. The Seattle goalkeeper made some great saves. I know that many fans don’t like a game being settled by penalty kicks but after playing for ~3 hours (in very cold temps), how else to do it. It’s been a great season for our TFC and even with the large expansion done to their stadium, it is still full on any given night. Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley are amazing athletes.
We had concert tickets so I watched the game on delay (finished up just short of 1AM). I was disappointed because I despise Seattle (Alonso’s a thug at mid-field, the defenders aren’t much better)
@alwaysamom – reason the season streches so long is MLS honored the FIFA break in November which delays everything 2 weeks. If they hadn’t done this both teams would be been missing many key players.
