This makes me a nervous wreck!! Nik and his sister Lijana crossed over each other! You could tell she was a bit worried. Who wouldn’t be!! Especially after her fall 2 years ago! Yikes!
Nik is in. She is still walking. When he finished he unhooked from the pole but it also looks like there is a safety wire attached to their backs. Glad they used that too!
I think I heard that the state of New York required a safety device like the wire. Otherwise they wouldn’t of gotten the permits.
Yes. They were not happy about the mandatory harnesses. Nik stated early in the show that they can actually increase danger because it can make walkers feel too secure and they get lax; he has seen people severely injured using them.
So- they did it. The to be attempt made local news here in Tampa because of proximity to Sarasota. Glad to hear she went through with it after her fall and horrendous injuries.
