Hi!,
can anyone please tell me something about the programmes in ecornell. i am thinking of applying for a certificate programme in HR. It would be great if someone can tell me about the nature of the course and the weightage it could put on the employer. I want to go in for management.

i don’t know anything about eCornell. What is it? Can you give us a link to a website?

They are online classes you can take that are certified by Cornell.

Home - eCornell;

that seems like people dont know much about the cornells. I got a mail from my counsellor she is nice though. But made me wait for ages. Well, eCornell is a certification programme from the university of cornell in HR and management. It seems like the certification is given after the completion of the course and is affiliated to Johnson graduate school or the school of industrial and labor relations
… thanks sparticus…

is that a sarcastic thanks? i mean you can’t expect me to know EVERYTHING, can you? :p

well, sparticus,I am sure not everyone knows everything about everything! but being a cornellian, and when you ‘r located in cornell you must have had some ideas on the ivy’ league’s new intitiative for making education reache people around the globe.The concern is not knowing more about more and more things in life but if you have ceased the effort in doing so. To go by our world and the geographical barriers that have numbed my ambitiouse effort to zap one from this university, I am unable to let you know of the desperation in my blood and in this time when the world is really giving up to the epithaph ‘a global village’ a true perspective for people to understand it, Its high time you put an effort to know a little more about the Cornell… and its outreache programmes.
I am located at a small village in Arunachal pradesh. Many of you must have heard it for the first time. Well, encarta and wikipedia have dubbed it as a land of dispute between india and china, commmon people have other reasons to woryy… so they are less concerned about ‘who is who’.
That apart, the THANKS was not sarcastic.It was for your reply on the post " the eastern standard time and waiting for some one to reply…"

i don’t think your average cornell freshman in the middle of his regular studies is going to busy himself with too much research about outreach programs when he has the university sitting outside his front door. sorry to dissapoint you.

and i understand the response to my semi-sarcastic comment. But i was truthfully pointing out that since most of our users are in EST 330AM-800AM is not a prime response time.
