Aside from volunteering/research/work experience, is there anything academic related I should try to use as electives? This is what my major requires: human
The reason I ask is because I’m skipping BILD1,2,3 (introductory biology classes) because of AP Credit. I’m going to use my major’s upper division work as supplementation.

^It might be possible to be successful in upper Bio at your school after skipping Intro. According to my D. at her school, skipping first Bio would have created enourmous problem for her. She was happy that she did not. She had both Honors and AP Bio in HS. Her Honors HS class used the same textbook as her first college Bio and she had “5” on AP and A’s in both HS Bio classes. Despite all of that, first college Bio has been one of the most challenging college classes (D. is college senior). However, I recognize the fact that it is different form school to school, so ultimately you are the only one who can decide with the help of your pre-med advisor. Electives if any at all should relate to your area of interest.
