Anything to increase chances for 7th grade child?

OP, your daughter will have to adjust time commitments with sports, school and activities. I agree with some posters. Doing a club sport can crowd out other things. Having a kid who has zero time to make connections, do activities and study will be very overwhelming. The transition from middle school student who excels in multiple areas to high school kid who excels in multiple areas isn’t a straight line. Most kids have to choose what’s most important to them.
BS are infinity more difficult that that great public/day school your kid attended. And even if your kid can do many things at once, they might learn that they need to give something up in order to do things well.
BTW, not all club teams are the same. Some are not very competitive and others are very time intensive and competitive. It also depends on the sport. My kid did club team on Sundays with tournaments and other practices until my kid realized they really didn’t want to spend so much time on this sport. Kid had a lot going on and also wanted to get the social aspect of being at BS. Your kid will have to choose what they like best.
