I got high 30s on my math and science portion of the ACT but only got mid 20s on the reading/english portions. My composite score came out to be a 31.
I got a 5 on the AP English exam and a 4 on the APUSH exam. For AP Calc and AP Computer science, I got 3s.
How strange will this look to an admissions officer if I want to go into finance? Which one will have more weight?
Admissions officers wont care about your AP scores.
Unless you’re going into financial engineering, calc and comp sci ap’s won’t matter too much. ACT already paints a good picture for your math, just make sure you have a good essay
The population for taking each AP exam is different. Also, the test scores are in different curve/scale. You are just doing Apple to Orange comparison at best.
