AP Art Portfolio and Profanity?

I’ve searched everywhere for an answer but can’t seem to find one…
What are the scorers’ opinions of profanity use in artwork? Of course, it’s not mindless profanity. There is an artistic reason behind it. In the few pieces (only two lol) I have used profanity, the crudeness is contrasted with something totally opposite to it.

For example… would something with this concept be too much? <a href=“Screenshot - b800bace9513be4d7c0c606acd879e85 - Gyazo”>http://gyazo.com/b800bace9513be4d7c0c606acd879e85</a> (I will probably tone down the language a bit more in the final piece)

Or a girl with a really sweet demeanor giving the finger and saying “F*** you”?

And if I really can’t have that in there, is it acceptable if I artistically censor the profanity? (put some collage element over it or something idk O_O). That way, it’s not there, but it’s implied.

Sorry I’m seeing this too late now :frowning: But did you do something like this for your exam? xD

If it helps, I saw a portfolio on YouTube with one particular painting/drawing/whatever that said “F*** THE POLICE” on it, and they still got a 5 :)
