AP Awards

How do AP awards work?

Are they given to Seniors, who have graduated?

If I had:

2008:
AP Chemistry- 1
AP Literature- 2
AP US Government- 3
AP Calculus AB- 4

2007:
AP Biology- 3
AP US History- 4

Would I be an AP Scholar?

I think you’d get AP Scholar Award…all you need for that is 3 3’s. I’m not sure how much it matters if you’ve graduated, but it’s still cool. Congrats

Thanks for the congrats. Hopefully, this helps, if I do decide to transfer colleges (I’m not sure, though).

If my school offered more APs, I would have gotten it last year.

My high school only offered 7 APs, 1 of which, I could not take: AP Spanish. I took French, so I couldn’t get into AP Spanish. That’s why I took AP Chemistry in another high school- I ended up failing the AP test, though.

Sometime in the fall, you’ll receive your AP Scholar certificate (suitable for framing), even if you have graduated. It’s mailed to your home address.

your not eligible if you got 1’s and 2’s

"AP Scholar

Granted to students who receive grades of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams."
