AP Bio HELP

Alright, I'll start with the main question and you can read the background down below if you want. For those who have scored 4 or 5 on the AP exam, what method of studying have been successful for you for AP Bio? Please list any prep book you've used, etc.

Basically, I'm kind of in a rut for AP Bio. I haven't been prepping well for my tests; I usually cram 5-6 chapters two-three days before and I sometimes don't even finish reading the chapters. I know it's really bad; I've been experiencing a serious case of senioritis due to my after school sports. So anyway, I'm trying to end it early and start prepping for the AP exam. My teacher is fairly good. He lectures during class but his lectures are sometimes so boring (I mean, it's AP Bio after all :P) that I don't retain much info. He prints out PPT slides so I have notes to study from. My current method of studying is just reading the textbook or the notes, or the Barrons' 3rd edition (although it doesn't have enough info for my tests). Right now, I'm in a really bad position because I can't remember much about the subject after all that horrible cramming I did. Also, every time I read the textbook it's so boring that I don't remember the info as much anyway.

Please, please tell me what you've did to counter the terrifying boredom of the little details and what I should focus on for the AP exam.

Much appreciated!

CliffsNotes prep book; Amazing reviews, wonderfully too-hard tests (my best score on MC was 60/100, got a 5 on the actual test).

I read that and watched the KhanAcademy videos on Biology. He goes over a lot of the major topics. I took notes, redid my notes, and went over them before taking one of the MC practice tests on the CD in the CliffsNotes book. After I took the practice tests, I reviewed both in my KhanAcademy notes and cliffsNotes the sections I did poorly on.

I self-studied the test, but that was enough to get a 5.

I simply read and take notes on Campbells. Usually gets me about an 82-85.

Get cliffnotes for the exam

^that was meant to be in caps lock

Sorry I can't help... I didn't have to study at all because my teacher was amazing. All the kids in his class of 20 got 5's on the exam.
