AP Bio in HS

I am planning on either doing a pre medical, biomedical engineering, or biochemistry program in college. My schedule next year is pretty packed:

Classes:
AP Physics B
AP Calculus BC
AP English Literature
AP Maco/Micro
AP Computer Science A
AP Statistics

Self Study:
AP Enviro
Perhaps AP Bio, although I highly doubt I'll have the time to actually read through the review book and prepare.

I took the useless Anatomy and Physiology this year. I already have AP Chemistry from this year as well.

So my question is, will not taking AP Biology really effect how I do in college in my choice of majors that I listed at the top and my chances of getting into college? I love biology, the only reason I'm not taking it is my schedule is so darn packed, and I cant drop many other things because some are just integral parts of school that I need to graduate. I could techincally drop AP Comp Sci or statistics for biology but with my current schedule, I think that'd just be asking for a beating. So I mean what would you guys say? is biology all that important?

PS: I'm really going to try and self study Bio for the AP test. The class at my school just hands out an outrageous amount of work that would probably kill me. while studying on my own would still be hard, i'm sure it wouldn't be nearly as hard as the class in large part due to the flexible schedule.

No, it won't have a significant effect except that you might actually have to learn some stuff in your first bio class ;)

Oh that's all? No effects on me getting into a pre medical program then? I don't want them to think "pre medical student with no AP Bio...That doesn't show interest" or something.

I'm actually doing AP Bio next year and want to go to premed as well. But I'm going to be a sophomore next year lol.

CliffNote's AP Biology prep book alone is enough to get a 5 on the AP Biology exam. If you're serious about it, this should be your #1 choice for a prep book.

Yeah...I wish my school would have let me take more APs sophomore year. I could only take world, which was so darn boring.

@EngineerHead

Yeah, I planned on purchasing that.

Anyone got an answer to my question 3 posts up?

Not taking AP Biology displays nothing other than that you did not take it.

Yeah, dude, don't worry about not taking it. It's not a big deal to colleges.

Ok, thanks for the answers.
