AP Bio Online Study Tools

Does anyone have any really good online study tools for the AP Bio exam? Im guessing they’re already on CC somewhere but I couldnt find them. Any suggestions would be GREAT!

^by this time. read cliffs. do cliffs practice tests. thats it. nothing more to do.

Is the cliffs better than the barrons? Also if I’m getting around 70 raw score on a MC section, is there hope for me to get a 5?

[Florida Virtual School - Test Review for AP](http://www.flvs.net/areas/flvscourses/pages/testreviewap.aspx) If you are from FL then it’s free. good ap bio practice tests.

66% and above on overall score is enough for a 5.

yea cliffs>barrons. but barrons is fine. just read either barrons or cliffs. dont bother with textbook unless you totally fail to understand something.

from my experience, the campbell book makes everything more confuzing

Just read Cliff’s. It’s the best. As somebody said, there’s nothing more to do. :p

@Ir2010: I take some courses on FLVS and I didn’t even know they had that! :stuck_out_tongue: Thanks!

woo i got a 76% on that Florida Virtual School test

they use weird scoring ? i thought it was multiply by 0.7563?

here is a calculator i found that tells u what u would get if u type in how many questions u got right and what u got on essays [AP Pass - AP Biology Calculator](AP Biology Test Score Calculator - AP Pass)

oh yeah and here is a great online review of the notes [Biology - Notes, Outlines, Vocabulary and Quizzes | Course-Notes.Org](AP Biology Notes, Outlines, and Labs | CourseNotes | CourseNotes)

@thehulk: I’m pretty sure that scoring calculator is wrong, because it subtracts 1/3 of a point for every wrong answer, when it should only subtract 1/4 of a point.

Beware of the FLVS answers, I found one or two of them that gave me correct explanations but incorrect answers (the letters were wrong).

SparkNotes also has a practice test and gives very helpful results, highlighting the areas in which you need improvement.

@alittlemonster: Thanks for the tip. I’ll be sure to watch out.

So regarding the FLVS AP practice tests, I’ve just discovered something: FLVS offers two AP Bio practice tests, and I took the first one a little while ago. I have the 2002 released exam, and I was just about to start it but then I realized it’s the same one as the FLVS practice test #1!!!

So if you’re a Florida student and you haven’t taken the 2002 released exam, you really should sign up for the FLVS AP review (it’s FREE) and take the two tests they offer. The link is in one of the above posts. :)

[PHSchool - The Biology Place](<a href=“Prentice Hall Retirement – PHSchool – PHSchool.com – Savvas”>Prentice Hall Retirement – PHSchool – PHSchool.com – Savvas)

Awesome site for lab review since I never actually did them. Self-studied a 5 :)

I’m too lazy to find the link right now, but there’s a guy named Bozemanbiology on youtube who has great videos covering all the major topics and labs.

How long would it take to read through Cliffs?

If you dedicate yourself today and tomorrow, it can be done. :)

84/100 on the second test by FLVS. I didn’t realize that was the 1990 Released Exam because I was gonna take it tonight lol .

Does anyone have the 2008 Released Exam? I will love you forever…
