<p>I took the AP Bio exam last year, and although I forgot most of the stuff, you don’t need to know every single virus that the Campbell book mentions. There are some main ones you should know, but on the exam, they give you enough clues about the characteristics of the viruses to know what TYPE of virus it is. So know the basic characteristics well, and you’ll be fine.</p>
