I’m not sure about other colleges, but at Penn you have to do labs anyway in order to complete the credit.

BIO all the way…CHEM is a killer in our school… last year only 3 people got A’s in the class… and our school is in the top 10 in the state

In my school, there are 3 AP Biology classes but only 1 AP chemistry class. AP Chem is known to be a gpa killer at my school.

im a student taking ap chem in sophmore year and let me tell you its super hard i took honors biology my freshamn year and it was recommended regular chemestry or ap biology but i chose ap chemestry becuase to be in ap chemestry you need to be in algebra 2 or a higher math. ap chemestry is a second year class and usually so is ap bio but ap chem is by far the hardest course that can be taken i took ap chem because i wanted a challange and boy is it a challenge also if your son plans on taking any other course ap he should be careful because im taking ap world history ap chem honors english and honors algebra two on top of 4 other classes and its wayy too much work and its super stressing specially when you get about 4 exams in one day and on finals week its worse
