<p>Are these grades that you have received or grades that you are predicting?</p>
<p>Calc is a prediction and history is for my first semester of the course (it’s possible to bring up to a B, but I am trying to be realistic)</p>
<p>A’s look better. When you pick AP classes, you need to pick those that are tailored to your interests and strengths. So I don’t recommend a schedule void of APs, but rather those APs that you can handle while getting an A or a B (unless of course your school only offers those two APs, in which case avoiding them may look questionable).</p>
<p>Of course, this all depends on what schools you’re looking at. For the tippy-top tier of schools, you need to be challenging yourself as much as possible (while still being wise about what you can handle–ie take a hard courseload, but not necesasrily the absolute hardest possible schedule you could take). For the next tier, A’s and the occasional B in an AP class are nessessary. And so on and so on. Moral of the story: C’s are bad. Challenge yourself without getting C’s.</p>
