AP Chem or AP Physics C

I want to be a nuclear engineer, but my school only lets us take one of the courses. So, I want to self-study one of them. Which one should I do?

I think you should self-study physics c if you have taken calculus and a previous physics course

ap chem is a lab-oriented course so you will definitely benefit from taking the class, and physics c is really easy b/c there are only 2 major topics: mech and e&m so you can get a review book or textbook

It really depends on if you are planning on self studying all of AP Physics C or just Mech. Doing all of it would be quite the work load I’d have to say; even though there’s only two major topics, they go pretty in depth.

I’d say Physics just because it was my favorite class ever, but do realize what you’re getting yourself into if you do both Mech and E&M.

What if I take like an online course? Would that make Physics C manageable?

yeah an online course should be fine - I think physics is easier so even w/o an online course I would find self-studying manageable but hey, it’s all you
