AP Chem or Bio?

I’m looking for an AP science to take my senior year. It’s not so much a question of whether I can handle one or the other, rather which will end up being more interesting for a ‘non-science person’. Since I’m more humanities oriented, despite having taken AP Calc already, I’m trying to show I’m challenging myself in other subject areas by taking an advanced science. Any help?

for a more humanities oriented person you would probably be better off taking biology.

Biology is more compatible with humanities classes because it is, at the heart of things, memorization at its finest. It will take a lot of time and effort but is not conceptually impossible, although a few chapters on molecular biology are challenging. Chemistry is all about learning several processes and developing a superior set of problem solving skills. The AP exam, while difficult, is nevertheless doable with a good amount of effort and a good teacher. Best of luck to you in whichever you decide to take!

Take AP Bio if you are a humanities person.

FR for Bio is more of an essay, whereas Chem is more quantitative
