AP Chem starting now?

All semester long (from sept. to nov.) we’ve had a horrible AP chem teacher. now that she “transferred”, i.e. students/teachers complained, they switched it to a new, more expierenced AP teacher.

I have 100% confidence in the new teacher, but i dont know if I should take the exam, considering we’ve lost so much time.

Not including AP chem, i will be taking AP bio and 3 other exams

If it’s any help, I self-studied for AP chem a couple years ago and didn’t start seriously studying until around January and still made a 5.

If you feel that you are good at chemistry (ie, confident in your AP Chem ability), then it shouldn’t be hard to do a bit of catching up on your own; it’ll be even better that you’ll have a competent teacher to guide you through any difficulties.
