I have been using both the Barron’s and the Princeton Review book to study. In the Kinetics chapter, Barron’s includes information about both Collision Theory and Transition-State Theory, whereas PR only has Collision Theory. Do I not have to know about Transition-State Theory? Thanks!

We didn’t put much emphasis on it in our class.

Collision theory is what I remembered learning from AP Chem. Transition-State, I never heard of it.

Yeah, it probably won’t be on there. And if it is, it will probably only be 1 question which won’t affect much at all.

We learned Collision Theory in Pre-AP
