<p>I plan to take AP Chemistry next year with AP Biology. I have one question. Is AP Chemistry for 1 semester or is it year long? Also how math-y is AP Chem? (Not very strong in math)</p>
<p>AP Chem is year long. Most subjects in AP chem are very math-y. it’s mostly calculator work though honestly</p>
<p>Definitely year long. The math is just simple algebra. I think the hardest math-type thing for most people would be dimensional analysis and stoichiometry (things like mole fraction).</p>
