Is the National AP Scholar Award worth getting? Does it help significantly on a college application?

It’s a nice award to have, but I don’t think it will help significantly on a college application, at least for top schools. A relatively small number of juniors qualify for the award, so it’s somewhat rare, but I don’t think it helps too much, but it looks ‘nice’.

As far as I know, you can input a whole Hanyu Pinyin phrase and it will guess the best phrase. The exam is administered on the computer (imagine how few people would be able to handwrite the responses and how much more it’d cost CB to use paper exams).

Well, lots of applicants to the most selective colleges will have National AP Scholar. Still, it doesn’t hurt (especially if you get it before senior year).
