I am taking 4 APs throughout my whole high school. Will I get into a selective college?
There is a lot more to it than number of AP classes. If your high school only offers four, then certainly that would indicate you maxed out your opportunities, and if you did well in them, you are probably at the top of your class. Colleges are going to look at what those AP classes are as well. AP HUGE isn’t going to get you nearly the rigor that you find in other AP classes, such as the lab sciences or calculus.
Finally, strong grades in rigorous classes are really a baseline. Every admitted candidate will have those. The admissions decision will factor in your ECs, LORs, essays, and other components, including some over which you have no control (race and geography).
