AP Comparative Gov't Introduction Question?

Self-studying AP Comparative Gov’t, was wondering if we really have to memorize all of the terms in the introduction (regarding Ethel Woods’ book). Like for instance, do we really have to memorize Weber’s belief about the characteristics of a bureaucracy, or do we kinda just have to know it and be able to apply it?

Hoping someone who has taken the AP test previously may be able to answer…

Bump… Anyone?
